Today, the Jonesboro High Dance competed in the 6A State Competition. The level of competition was extremely high, with an abundance of talent within the 6A conference. Jonesboro High School received 4th place in hip hop, as well as 6th place in both Pom and Kick. We are incredibly proud of our team's achievements and want to commend the ladies for their outstanding performance. Great job, ladies! #canespirit

Congratulations to the Jonesboro High Dance Team for their outstanding achievements at the Jonesboro Dance Invitational! They truly showcased their talent and dedication by securing 1st place in Pom, Hip Hop, and Kick. In addition, they received well-deserved recognition for their exceptional Pom technique and Best Choreography Award for their Kick Routine. Let's not forget to celebrate the individual successes as well! Cate Guinn excelled by securing first place in the 11th grade solo category and also becoming the overall high school soloist. Elleigh Counts also deserves recognition for her remarkable performance, earning 2nd place in the 11th grade soloist category. Moreover, Zuri Gomez claimed victory in the kick competition, Ella Cartwright triumphed in the Jump Competition, and Lucy Scott shined in the Turn Competition.
